Apprentice Jockey Rayyan Kulloo (SPECIAL FORCE) and Trainer SP Nagadoo along with Assistant Trainer U Nagadoo, were interviewed at the offices of the HRD, in relation to his riding of horse Special Force on 17 December 2023.
Subsequently, Apprentice Jockey Rayyan Kulloo was charged with a contravention of Rule 43.2.10, in that, whilst riding his horse, he failed to follow his Trainer’s instructions.
Apprentice Jockey Rayyan Kulloo pleaded not guilty to the charge; however, he was found guilty as charged.
After considering the evidence in this matter, the Inquiry Board imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for 5 Race Meetings.
After the verdict, Apprentice Kulloo asked the Racing Stewards for a deferment, so that he can ride for Race Meeting 1. The request was granted. Apprentice Kulloo will then be suspended from Race Meeting 2 to Race Meeting 6.
