An Inquiry held at the Offices of the HRD on 15th May 2024, Jockey Jameer Allyhosain was charged with a contravention of Rule 43.2.2, in that, whilst riding horse STAGEWORLD on 4th May 2024 at the Champ de Mars racecourse, he failed to ensure that that he did not cause interference to another horse.
Jockey J Allyhosain pleaded guilty to the charge; and he was found guilty as charged. After considering the evidence in this matter, the Inquiry Board imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for 1 Race Meeting.
Jockey Allyhosain will not appeal the sanction, and will thus miss Race Meeting 3, on Saturday 18th May 2024.
