An Inquiry held at the Offices of the HRD on 15th May 2024, Jockey J Bardottier was charged with a contravention of Rule 43.2.3, in that, whilst riding horse DOUBLETHINK on 11 May 2024 at the Champ de Mars racecourse, he failed to take all reasonable measures to ensure that he follows the instructions given to him.
Jockey J Bardottier pleaded not guilty to the charge; however, he was found guilty as charged.
After considering the evidence in this matter, the Inquiry Board imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for 2 Race Meetings.
Jockey Bardottier has the right to Appeal.
