The Horse Racing Division is pleased to welcome five new members to its team.
The current panel of Racing Stewards, composed of the Indians Riyaz Khan, Telegu Subramaniyam Mahendher and Sanjeev Thakan, has been strengthened by the arrival of the Mauritians Krishna Lingen, David Labelle and Ally Mohedeen.
Messrs. Lingen and Labelle served as Trainees on the board of Racing Stewards in 2022 and 2023. Mr. Mohedeen is the former editor-in-chief of the specialised magazine express-Turf.
Veterinarian Marie Claire Domingue is also one of the new recruits. She was until recently attached to People’s Turf Plc.
Vivekanan Seebhurnah joins the HRD family as Sample collector. He already held this position within the Mauritius Turf Club.
