Three inquiries will be heard by the Racing Stewards of the Horse Racing Division (HRD) on April 15, 19 and 22.
They concern respectively Apprentice Ryyan Kulloo (for his ride on Special Force on December 17, 2023), Jockey Bawan Sooful (for his performance on Vartacus on December 17, 2023), and Trainer Chandraduth Daby (for the case of positive samples of Captain’s Consort on December 7, 2023).
With the return from vacation of the Internation Stewards, who had visited their families in India after two years spent in Mauritius, and the panel of Racing Stewards now duly constituted, the investigations should be completed before the start of the new season.
As a reminder, the 2024 Racing Season kicks off on May 4 and ends on November 30, with a total of 30 Race Meetings.
