The Horse Racing Division confirms that at an inquiry held at its offices, at Happy World House, Port Louis, on 5 May 2023, Trainer P Nagadoo pleaded guilty to a charge of administration of substance (Twydil) other than normal feed and water to the horse Tomorrow’s Vision, on the morning of racing on 30 April 2023, for Race Meeting 7, at the People’s Turf Plc. Trainer P Nagadoo was charged under Rule 81.1.23.
After hearing the evidence in the matter, the Inquiry Board imposed a penalty of a fine of Rs 100,000 of which Rs 75,000 is suspended for three (3) years on condition that Trainer P. Nagadoo is not found guilty of a similar case during that period.
Trainer P Nagadoo was informed of his right to Appeal.
