The Chief Stipe of the Horse Racing Division, Mr. Deanthan Moodley, walked the Champ de Mars race track this morning, accompanied by the Clerk of the Course and the Track Manager of People’s Turf Plc, Mr. Jedeon Sampson and Mr. Nicolas Dupavillon, respectively.
The decision has been taken to cancel Race Meeting 5, scheduled for this Sunday, 16 April 2023, due to bad underfoot conditions.
Horse racing will resume on the weekend of 29 and 30 April, with Race Meetings 6 and 7.
