South American jockey Andre Luiz Da Silva has been suspended by the Racing Stewards of the Horse Racing Division on Wednesday 23 November 2022 for four Race Meetings, for interference.
A L Da Silva was charged under rule 208 (d) for causing interference to Master Of Illusion, Creation and Culture Trip, between the 1300m and 1250m, while he was riding Gunston in Race 5 (The People’s Turf Plc World Football Mania Cup) of Meeting 34, run at People’s Turf Plc, on Saturday 19 November 2022.
The Brazilian jockey pleaded not guilty, was found guilty as charged, and informed of his right of Appeal.
