Jockey A L Da Silva was suspended for a week by the Stewards of the Horse Racing Division, on Wednesday 16 November 2022 for causing interference in Race 4 (361 Rose Belle Cup), in Race Meeting 32, run at the MTC Sports And Leisure, while riding Silken Prince.
The Brazilian jockey pleaded not guilty, and was found guilty as charged, under rule 208 (d), in that he did not take every possible and all necessary steps to ensure that his horse did not cross Carlas Mambo (B. Sooful) and causing the latter to check between the 1400m and 1300m.
Jockey Da Silva was informed of his right to appeal.
