The Racing Stewards of the Horse Racing Division have stood down jockey Kersley Ramsamy on horse Crushing Force, in Race 1 of Meeting 31, The People’s Turf VIP Lounge Cup, to be run at People’s Turf Plc on Saturday 5 November 2022 at the Champ de Mars racecourse.
The Racing Stewards discovered that jockey Ramsamy’s grand total of wins, including his spells outside Mauritius, is over 50.
An inquiry will be opened into jockey Kersley Ramsamy’s participation in races reserved for Mauritian riders having less than 50 winners.
Consequently, Trainer S. P. Nagadoo has been granted permission to replace Kersley Ramsamy by Alvinio Roy (-2 kg) on horse Crushing Force, at 3 p.m. on 3 November 2022.
