The Horse Racing Division has received fresh nominations this Wednesday 21 September 2022, for Race Meeting 22, which has been rescheduled for Sunday 25 September 2022, with 9 races on the programme.
On Tuesday 20 September 2022, the Court granted to MTC Sports and Leisure Limited a stay of the decision of the Gambling Regulatory Authority and the Horse Racing Division, authorising People’s Turf to hold an additional race day this weekend. This has put Race Meeting 23 on hold, pending any further determination by the Court.
Thereafter, the HRD voided the entries published on Tuesday 20 September 2022, for both meetings initially scheduled on Saturday 24 September 2022 and Sunday 25 September 2022. Race Meeting 22 has then been scheduled to Sunday 25 September 2022, with a new programme.
Entries for Race Meeting 22 are expected to be published around noon today.
