Trainer Amar Sewdyal has been fined a sum of Rs 5000 by the Stewards of the Horse Racing Division (HRD), this Friday 16 September 2022. He was charged under rule 115 (g) for putting blinkers on for the first time with horse Crimson God, without trialling it out on grass with the equipment.
Crimson God raced for the first time with blinkers during Race Meeting 20, ran at the People’s Turf Plc, in Race 8, The 23rd Anniversary Of Mr Love Solo Artist Cup, at the Champ de Mars racecourse.
Trainer Sewdyal pleaded not guilty, and was informed of his right to appeal.
