Racing Season postponed until further notice

The racing season postponed to a later date. Following the failure of the Mauritius Turf Club Sports and Leisure (MTCSL) to pay the Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) today for the Horse Racing Organiser’s (HRO) license, the first meeting of the 2022 season, scheduled for Saturday April 23, is cancelled.

The Horse Racing Division (HRD) regrets this situation, especially since it was ready to start the season.

The Horse Racing Division wants everything to be back to normal as soon as possible, in the interest of race lovers, trainers, owners, grooms and all those concerned with the horse racing industry.

All bets placed with bookmakers for Race Meeting 1 of 2022 are thus cancelled and refunded.
