Another suspension for Jockey R Joorawon, who was previously sanctioned for 14 weeks (under appeal). This time, the Racing Stewards of the Horse Racing Division charged him for contravening Rule 43.2.7 while riding Horse In With A Chance at the Champ de Mars racecourse during Race Meeting 15.
During the inquiry held at the HRD on 22nd August 2024, R Joorawon pleaded not guilty, however was found guilty as charged. He has been given a suspension of 6 Race Meetings, and has the right to Appeal.
